Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of UnLoop (the “app”, “service”), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY / YOUR NAME]. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What UnLoop is

UnLoop is a self-improvement companion: a habit tracker with an AI coach, daily check-ins, habit tracking, reminders, and insights generated from the information you provide. It is a wellbeing and productivity tool.

Not medical, psychological, or crisis care

UnLoop is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or professional advice. The Companion is an AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Nothing in the app is a substitute for a qualified doctor, therapist, or counsellor. If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately — the app is not designed for emergencies. If you write something that suggests you may be in danger, the Companion may suggest reaching out for professional help; it does not contact anyone on your behalf. You use any suggestion at your own discretion and risk.

Accepting these terms

You accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy by ticking the box when you create your account. Because the Companion works from what you tell it about your habits, sleep and mood, that same step is your explicit consent to us processing health-related information you choose to share. We record when you accepted and which version you accepted. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your account in Settings, which also ends these Terms.

Eligibility & your account

• You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age where you live).
• Provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person; don't impersonate others.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app to:

• break the law or harm others;
• abuse, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service or its AI;
• upload content you have no right to share, or malware.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service — to store your content and send it to our processors (including the AI provider) so we can generate your coaching and insights. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions & payments

The first part of UnLoop — the onboarding questions and your read — is free and needs no card. To keep using the Companion after that, you choose a subscription:

• Monthly — US$9.99 a month;
• Yearly — US$59.99 a year, paid up front.

Prices include any sales tax or VAT we are required to charge, unless shown otherwise at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and you are charged the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you before any price change takes effect for you, and you can cancel before it does.

Cancelling: you can cancel at any time in Settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.

Right of withdrawal (EU/UK): you have 14 days from purchase to withdraw. Because the service starts immediately at your request, if you withdraw within those 14 days we refund what you paid minus a proportionate amount for the days you used it. To withdraw, cancel in Settings or email us. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under the law where you live.

Usage of the AI is subject to fair-use limits that ordinary use will not reach; they exist to keep the service running for everyone.

If the business changes hands

We may transfer these Terms, your account, and the data described in the Privacy Policy to a new owner if UnLoop is sold, merged, or acquired, so the service can continue without interruption. Your rights under these Terms carry over unchanged, you will be given notice, and you can delete your account at any point instead. You may not transfer your own account to someone else.

Availability & changes

We're actively developing UnLoop and may add, change, or remove features, and there may be downtime. We'll try to give notice of significant changes, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or the law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of decisions you make using the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY/JURISDICTION], and disputes will be handled by its courts, unless mandatory local law gives you other rights.
